I am a Colorado native who loves all things mountains, grass fields, wildflowers, lakes and more. I live in a beautiful house with my amazing partner, who serves as a firefighter, and our loving English Bulldog, Odin. They are the absolute loves of my life, and my favorite hobby is spending time with them on our patio or snuggled up on the couch together. Family is very important to me, so when I’m not cleaning my house (which weirdly, is another one of my favorite things to do), I’m spending time with my parents, grandparents, siblings and my two adorable, baby nephews who live down the road.

Hi, I’m Kelley!

Although I love spending time at home, I LOVE to travel, too. I have gone to so many amazing places across the country and even across the world! From Montana to New York to Hawaii all the way to Europe, I am always up for a new adventure. My favorite place I’ve traveled so far has to be Marseille, France where you are right off the ocean, the best white wine is made, and you can get the most incredible bread, crepes and pasta from your local bakery, creperie or restaurant. I hope to one day visit every (or maybe just as many as I can) countries in Europe and try all sorts of different foods, see local historic sites and educate myself on the vastly different cultures there are.

Why Photography?

——

I grew up loving photography and capturing memories of big events and what life was like at all points in time. I always hesitated pursuing it as a possible career and thought I needed to follow more “practical” career paths. I have a degree in Marketing and Human Resource Management from Colorado State University and have used it to work in the tech industry since graduating in 2020.

At the age of 23, I had a near death experience after I accidently consumed peanuts and went into anaphylactic shock. Unable to breathe and only minutes away from needing an invasive, permanent procedure to get oxygen into my lungs, I was emergency intubated and held in the ICU until my throat opened back up. The scariest moment of my life taught me that life is short- live it doing the things you love. From there, I decided to take the plunge and start my own photography business, pursuing a career doing something I truly love.
